I was born in Nebraska. My family moved a few times growing up providing me with wonderful experiences. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 1991 and moved to Grand Junction that same year.

What area do you live in now?

Currently, I live in the Redlands but have lived in/owned homes in the city and North areas. We chose our current home (hopefully our forever home) because we are partial to older homes.

There is so much diversity of homes in the Valley that it was hard to choose.

Mesa County is filled with natural beauty like the Monument, Bookcliffs and Mesa, which brings me joy. There’s no better place to call home.

How long have you worked in real estate?

I got my license in 2006 and have been a full-time REALTOR ever since.

I work in the residential market, and it is cliche, but I love meeting new people and helping them find a home or move on to a different situation. There is no better feeling than when a new client becomes a repeat client. Every sale/ purchase is different, so I feel that I can help my clients through my experience and continued education. I truly enjoy that each client and deal is a new experience.

What did you do before that?

I worked in clothing retail. I started at the store level and eventually made it to the corporate level as an allocation analyst.

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

When I am not working, my husband and I love staycations taking advantage of the local events. When my boys were still at home, we enjoyed their marching band performances/competitions, camping and other family adventures.

Now that it is just my husband and I, we love to travel, take the motorcycle out for an adventure and be grandparents.

Family is the most important part of life, and I am so lucky to have so much family around me!

Get the help of a professional REALTOR. Interview the professional to make sure you are a fit, can communicate and that the professional understands your needs. A REALTOR can help develop and coordinate the team around you to make your experience a success.
